Team Ministry Website Available

Dr. Richard Herman, Vice President,
Wheat Ridge Ministries

A “Healthy Team Ministry” website promoting and encouraging team ministry among principals, school directors and pastors is now available on the Wheat Ridge Ministries website at www.wheatridge.org. The site is a place to share ideas, information and questions related to developing healthy team relationships. It includes articles, links, resources, a “team talk discussion forum” and helpful tips for team building.

“The health and well-being of our church workers is critical to effective congregational ministry,” says Dr. Richard Bimler, president of Wheat Ridge Ministries. “Leadership can be very challenging given the increasing operational complexities of churches and schools. Wheat Ridge would like to assist church leaders in creating positive healthy teams that can deal with difficult issues in a manner that builds a cooperative environment among faculty, students, parents and other congregational members.”

As part of this “Healthy Team Ministry,” Wheat Ridge will also implement regional team wellness workshops beginning in 2002 that will assist teams in being more intentional about their health.

Wheat Ridge is a Lutheran organization that seeds over 120 new health ministries throughout the world each year, ministries that bring the healing Christ to thousands in need of wholeness in body, mind and spirit.
