Trinity Lutheran College, Issaquah, Washington announces New Program

Trinity Lutheran College, Issaquah, Washington,(formerly known as Lutheran Bible Institute) has announced the addition of a 4-year Bachelor of Arts degree program in Early Childhood Education to their curriculum. Noah’s Ark Preschool & Kindergarten, an on-site facility at Trinity , will be the working lab for students enrolled in this program.

In addition, Trinity Lutheran College and Noah’s Ark Preschool & Kindergarten are jointly sponsoring an event on October 10, 2001, at 6:30 p.m. on Trinity’s campus, featuring Mrs. Mona Locke, Chairperson of the newly formed Washington Early Learning Foundation. Mrs. Locke is the wife of Washington Governor Gary Locke, and has been involved on various commissions and committees supporting early childhood education. Trinity is excited to have Mrs. Locke available to speak on the value of early childhood educational programs. The goals of the Washington Early Learning Foundation are:

  • To provide research and development in the area of early childhood education;
  • To assist in educating early childhood professionals; and
  • To promote quality child care and early childhood educational experiences for every child.
