What's new at ELEA National?
Gayle Denny, ELEA Executive
Director
My days are busy are usual—filled
with phone calls, processing membership applications, traveling to
conferences and meetings, and of course, editing newsletters.
Things are a little busier than usual this year, however, because
my husband and I are getting ready for a major move to Goodyear,
Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix. Don’t panic—I will still serve as ELEA Executive Director—ELEA is moving with us and relocating its
offices. What does this mean for members and others who call,
write or email? Not much will be different initially. The
toll-free incoming number—800-500-7644—will stay the same, as will
the web site and email address. We will continue to use the
Everett, Washington mailing address of 2625 Colby Avenue, Suite 3,
#202, Everett, WA 98201, which is actually a private mailbox. My
part-time assistant, Cindy Mikk, will pick up mail daily, make
bank deposits, fax, scan or mail information to me or other
appropriate people in a timely manner. Later in the Spring of
2004, we will have a new mailing address in Goodyear (we’re
waiting for a new UPS Store to be built in the vicinity of the new
office to obtain a new private mailbox address) and a new mailing
address will be announced. The fax number will be forwarded to a
new number until the new number is communicated to all of you.
So, don’t worry—you can expect the same kind of service you have
been receiving—you might just see an Arizona postmark on things
being mailed to you. The office will be closed from December
15—26, 2003, to facilitate the move.
I hope you all have a very blessed
Christmas!
